About Lightphrase
Lightphrase is a Windows writing utility from Mason Solutions. Highlight text in any editable field, press Win+Ctrl+R, and the selection is rewritten where it sits. This page is who publishes it, what the product does, and how to reach us.
Who makes Lightphrase
Mason Solutions publishes Lightphrase. We are based in the Philippines. Lightphrase is the desktop writing utility; Mason Solutions is the publisher. You will see both names on this site, on the Microsoft Store, and on the GitHub organization.
We make a writing utility, not a website you paste into. Lightphrase lives in the tray. It does not watch keystrokes, and it sends nothing while the wheel is merely open. When you highlight text and press Win+Ctrl+R, the selection is rewritten in the field you were already in.
Mason Solutions is the publisher of Lightphrase and the data controller for the processing described in the privacy policy. The contact address we publish is support@mail.mason.ph. Write there for product questions, account issues, and any request about your data.
What the product does
Lightphrase rewrites selected text in place. You are already writing in Gmail, Slack, Word, Notion, Teams, VS Code, or a browser form. Highlight the sentence that is not working. Press Win+Ctrl+R. A wheel opens on the pointer. Sweep toward Retone, Translate, Summarize, Fix Grammar, or Reply, then release.
Rewrites replace the selection where it sits. Reply copies a response and leaves the original unchanged. Before Lightphrase copies, it snapshots your clipboard; after it pastes, it puts the clipboard back. You do not lose whatever you had copied, and you do not leave the app you were writing in.
Selected text is sent only when you pick an action. Tones, shortcuts, and rewrite history stay on this computer. The privacy policy is the full account of what is collected, where it goes, who processes it, and how long anything is kept. Read-only page text cannot be replaced, because there is no editable selection to overwrite.
A step-by-step walkthrough of the gesture is on how to rewrite selected text in any Windows app.
Windows is available now from the Microsoft Store (product id 9P821MSH3VL5). macOS and Linux are in development. The current version is 0.1.4, a pre-release. Store updates install on their own.
Early access is free for the first 1,000 accounts, with 1,000 rewrites per account per UTC day, resetting every UTC day. After the first 1,000 accounts there is a waitlist. Signing in once is what arms the shortcut.
